Structure
A（变化） ， 主语 也 随之 动词（上涨／增加／改变…） ／ … 随之而来
What it means
“Along with it, accordingly”: a second change follows in step with the first. 之 means “it” and points back to the change in the first clause.
How it is built
Change A，subject + 也 + 随之 + verb (上涨／增加／改变…): 游客激增，酒店价格也随之上涨 (Visitor numbers soared and hotel prices rose with them). 随之而来: to come along with it.
When to use it
Written and common in the news. Compare 随着 (lesson 1-3), which takes a noun phrase and opens the sentence: 随着游客增加，酒店也涨价了. 随之 stands in the second clause, before the verb.
Watch out
之 is already the object, so do not add another: ✗随之游客增加，酒店涨价了。 ✓游客增加，酒店也随之涨价。

游客激增，酒店价格也随之上涨。
Visitor numbers soared and hotel prices rose with them.
工厂搬走以后，附近的几家小饭馆也随之关了门。
When the factory moved away, the little restaurants nearby closed down too.
