Structure
句子 + 呢 · 还 …… 呢
What it means
呢 at the end of a statement points a fact out to the listener and gives it a little weight, like “you know” or “actually”.
How it is built
Statement + 呢, often with 还 or 才: 现在才七点，还早呢 (It’s only seven. It’s still early).
When to use it
Use it to calm someone, correct them or share news: 王明还不知道呢！ It builds on 还没……呢 (h2-8) and sounds spoken and friendly.
Watch out
Here 呢 is not a question word, so the sentence ends with 。 or ！, not ？: 我还给你发了短信呢。

别急，现在才七点，还早呢。
Don’t rush, it’s only seven. It’s still early.
王明还不知道呢！
Wang Ming doesn’t know yet!
我还给你发了短信呢。
