What it means
Both mean “again and again, repeatedly”: 一再 stresses persistence, 屡次 how many times something happened.
How it is built
Subject + 一再／屡次 + verb: 他一再强调，这件事跟自己没有关系 (he insisted again and again it had nothing to do with him). 这位运动员屡次打破全国纪录.
When to use it
一再 goes with verbs of saying, asking, refusing and putting off: 一再劝, 一再推辞, 一再推迟. 屡次 is more written: 屡次获奖, 屡次违反规定, 屡次三番.
Watch out
Both go before the verb; only 再三 (1-17) can also follow it: ✓ 考虑再三 ✗ 考虑一再.
Examples
我推辞了两次，阿姨还是一再劝我喝茶。
I declined twice, but Auntie kept on urging me to have some tea.
他一再强调，这件事跟自己没有关系。
He insisted again and again that he had nothing to do with it.
这位运动员屡次打破全国纪录。
This athlete has broken the national record time and again.
