一点儿…都不…

not … at all; not even a little

Structure
一点儿 (名词) 都/也 不/没 …

What it means

“Not … at all”, “not even a little”: total negation.

How it is built

一点儿 (+ noun) + 都/也 + 不/没 + verb: 有人一点儿辣都受不了 (Some people cannot take even a little heat).

When to use it

Use 不 for states and choices, 没 for things that did not happen: 他说的话我一点儿也没听懂. The frame works with any measure word: 一个人都没来, 一分钱也没花, 一次都没去过.

Watch out

The negative comes after 都/也, not before 一点儿: ✗ 我不一点儿饿。 ✓ 我一点儿也不饿。
