What it means
After a noun, 怎么样 asks how something is or what it is like; after a suggestion it means “how about it?”.
How it is built
Noun + 怎么样？: 天气怎么样？ (What’s the weather like?). Suggestion + ，怎么样？: 我们星期六去看电影，怎么样？
When to use it
Answer by describing it: 很好, 不大冷, 太热了. To agree to a suggestion, say 好.
Watch out
Don’t mix it up with 怎么 + verb, which asks how to do something: 天气怎么样？ (what is it like?) but 火车站怎么走？ (how do I get there?).
