Structure
该 ＋ 名词（该企业、该产品） · 另 ＋ 动词（另有、另行通知） · 兹 ＋ 动词（兹定于、兹证明）
What it means
Three document words: 该 (gāi) “the said, this one just mentioned”; 另 “another, separately”; 兹 “hereby”, opening notices and certificates.
How it is built
该 + noun (该公司); 另 + verb (另有, 另行通知) or 另 + 一／number + noun (另一家); 兹 + verb (兹证明, 兹定于): 除三名死者外，另有十二人受伤 (besides the three dead, another twelve were injured).
When to use it
News, official documents and notices. 兹 never appears in speech, where 这个, 另外 and 现在 do the work.
Watch out
该 takes no measure word: ✗ 该个公司 ✓ 该公司. 另 before a noun needs 一 or a number: ✗ 另家 ✓ 另一家. Here 该 means “this”, not “should”.
Examples
康师傅宣布，立即终止与该供应商的一切合作。
Master Kong announced that it was ending all cooperation with the said supplier at once.
除三名死者外，另有十二人受伤。
Besides the three dead, another twelve were injured.
兹定于3月20日上午9时召开全体员工大会。
Notice is hereby given that an all-staff meeting will be held at 9 a.m. on 20 March.
