What it means
不仅／不光 A，而且／还／也 B means “not only A, but also B”: B adds to A.
How it is built
不仅／不光 A，而且／还／也 B: 她不光会唱歌，还会跳舞 (she can not only sing but dance too). It works like 不但……而且…… (h2-19).
When to use it
不光 is more spoken, 不仅 more written. With two different subjects, 不仅 goes before the first subject and the second half uses 也: 不光孩子爱吃，大人也爱吃 (not only kids love it, adults do too).
Watch out
With one subject, the subject comes before 不仅: ✗ 不仅她会唱歌，她还会跳舞。 ✓ 她不仅会唱歌，还会跳舞。

这个房子不仅大，而且离公司很近。
This flat is not only big but also close to the office.
她不光会唱歌，还会跳舞。
She can not only sing but dance too.
骑自行车不仅环保，而且对身体好。
Cycling is not only green but good for you too.
