Example
病人出院的时候送来一面锦旗,上面写着“华佗再世”。
When the patient left hospital he presented a silk banner reading “Hua Tuo reborn”.
Tone: positive (praise).
Usage and origin
The classic praise for a doctor, especially on the 锦旗 (silk banners) that grateful patients give. 华佗 (died about 208) was killed by 曹操, the strongman of the Three Kingdoms, which ties him to lesson 4-15. 妙手回春 (2-7) is the other favourite.
