What it means
Without (permission), may not …: forbids an act unless a formal step has been taken. The positive, 经…后, means “upon”.
How it is built
未经 + approval or formal step，不得 + verb: 未经许可，不得转载 (No reproduction without permission). The positive frame is 经 + step + 后 + result.
When to use it
经 marks the procedure that makes something valid: 经批准, 经审查, 经双方同意; 未经 is its negative. Standard in contracts, notices and copyright lines. Speech says 没有…同意，不能….
Watch out
未经 takes the approval or step, not just a person: ✗ 未经我，不得进入 ✓ 未经我同意，不得进入.
Examples
未经甲方书面同意，乙方不得将房屋转租他人。
Without Party A’s written consent, Party B may not sublet.
合同经双方签字后生效。
The contract takes effect once both parties have signed.
