What it means
“As …”, “along with …”: one ongoing change brings another.
How it is built
随着 + process，result: 随着年龄的增长，他的想法也变了 (As he grew older, his views changed too). The process is often …的发展, …的提高 or 越来越….
When to use it
Formal and common in writing about trends. The second clause describes the change that follows, often with 也, 越来越 or 不断.
Watch out
What follows 随着 must be a process, never a single event, and it takes no 了: ✗ 随着他来了 ✓ 随着线路越来越密.
Examples
随着线路越来越密，出行越来越方便。
As the lines grow denser, travel grows easier.
随着年龄的增长，他的想法也变了。
As he grew older, his views changed too.
