将 A 融入 B
to blend A into B; to work A into B
Structure
将 A 融入 B(之中)
What it means
To blend A into B so that it becomes part of B and the join no longer shows: a tune into a form, an element into a design, a memory into a novel.
How it is built
(Subject) + 将 + A + 融入 + B (+ 之中/中): 设计师将苏绣融入现代服装 (the designer works Suzhou embroidery into modern clothes). 将 is the written 把, bringing A before the verb.
When to use it
Formal; in speech say 把 A 加进/放进 B. With a person as subject, 融入 means “to fit into” a group or place: 他很快就融入了新的集体.
Watch out
Not 融合, where two things merge as equals (A 和 B 融合). 将 A 融入到 B is very common, but 入 already means “into”, so editors usually cut 到.
