Structure
A 跟／和 B 一样 （+ 形容词） · A 跟 B 不一样
What it means
Says A is the same as B, or, with an adjective, A is as … as B.
How it is built
A + 跟／和 + B + 一样 (+ adjective): 这个网站跟那个一样便宜 (This website is just as cheap as that one).
When to use it
Without an adjective it means “the same”: 我的跟你的一样. For “different”, put 不 straight before 一样: 跟英国的不一样. You met 一样 in h1-19.
Watch out
✗ 不跟英国的一样 ✓ 跟英国的不一样. Don’t follow English “the same as” order: ✗ 我的一样跟你的。 ✓ 我的跟你的一样。
